Data Engineer

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join a dynamic team and contribute to building scalable data pipelines, optimizing database performance, and ensuring the efficient flow of data across various systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and experience working with large datasets and cloud-based data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines.
Build and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
Implement and manage data integration solutions across various platforms.
Work with relational and NoSQL databases to store and retrieve data efficiently.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data availability.
Monitor and improve database performance and reliability.
Develop and maintain documentation for data workflows and architecture.
Ensure data security, compliance, and administrative guidelines.

Requirements:

Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
Hands-on experience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and best practices.
Familiarity with data warehouse solutions such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
Fluency in English (C1 and up); knowledge of German or Italian is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
